i didn't realize until midway through the day that today is the first of october. which is delightful. up until lately i was dreading winter, but i have decided to embrace it as i don't have much of a say in the matter.
i ride a bicycle to work, nearly a mile. which is tough, but i truly do enjoy it most of the time. on my way home i smelled a wood stove; i would assume someone's firing theirs up (no pun intended harhar) as it was 45 degrees last night. and although the trees haven't changed colors AT ALL, i just got into one of my exuberant moods thinking about pumpkins and corduroy and halloween costumes etc. it was a fantastic ride home. i just thought i would put in writing how grateful i am to have had it.
