the reason why facebook is so popular is no longer a mystery to me. it's all in the status update. YES. i have figured it all out.
the genius lies in the third person; by talking about oneself in the third person, it makes one the CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE. which, we all surely can admit how self-centered the entire facebook/myspace phenom is. and that's fine and dandy, because if everyone's self centered then it's not self centered anymore. and we all definitely care about each other, and facebook is an active means of doing that.
anyway. i don't mean to sound negative. i think facebook is delightful and wonderful. just had a slight enigma. i guess that's my blog about my thoughts for now......;)
